Jordan trained as a musical theatre performer at both The University of Michigan and New York University, and graduated with a BFA in Acting from NYU. She has enjoyed a flourishing career as an actor and singer in New York City. She's performed in musicals across the country, including two productions of Grease with her husband Matt, playing the cute and complicated lovebirds, Sandy & Danny. Awww... Besides her stage work, Jordan's performance in the comedy feature, The Pact earned her a “Best Actress” win at the NYC Independent Film Festival. As a stand-up comic, Jordan has performed at Caroline’s, Comedy Cellar, and Gotham in New York, and The Comedy Store, The Improv, and Flappers Comedy Club in L.A. She has also trained in sketch writing and improv at The Groundlings and Upright Citizens Brigade. Most of the 10 years she lived in Pennsylvania were spent popping out babies and helping them grow into super cool people. However, she did find the time to write and perform two one-woman shows, Baby Talk & It’s Been a Mom Day, which chronicled her experience of motherhood through songs and puppetry! Since moving to L.A. Jordan has been a producer on two films, Face 2 Face and Harper Finch. She has also written several TV pilots, and continues to write and develop television scripts and many other film projects with Matt Toronto, her husband and collaborator. Jordan and Matt's pilot, MOVE ON is a quarter-finalist in The 2016 Page Awards, and a TOP TEN finalist in the 2016 Launch Pad Pilots Competition!
